When I was younger, there were days when I was so insecure about my body. What girls couldn’t relate?”

Ashley wanted to look healthier - - not loose weight, “I wished I worked out more and was more toned,” Tisdale told Twist magazine October/ November 2008 issue.

Ashley found out that dancing was great for getting fit and she had fun with it.

That doesn’t mean that she is confident everyday.

“There are times when I’m like, ‘I don’t look good today’ or ‘I don’t like what I’m wearing.’ Those times are very real,” Ashley told the magazine.

When she has those days she either dances, jogs or does something else to make her happy.

“I think I’ve grown into myself and I’m very happy with the way I look.”

If you have not gone out and got the November 2008 issue of Seventeen, you may want to think about it. Ashley Tisdale is on the cover and she gives them a wonderful interview.

According to Valerie Strauss of The Washington Post, Ashley Tisdale ran into Zac Efron at a

Cheetah Girls concert Zac and Ashley’s fans recognized them, and they both had to be taken backstage.

“They were chanting, `Ashley, Ashley.’ I thought Ashley Simpson was in the audience,”Ashley said.

That just shows you how down-to-earth Ashley is, and the fact that she does not have a big ego.

I am not sure that you ever get use to getting recognized, but Ashley doesn’t mind having her fans ask for autographs.

She is who she is, and she is finally getting to do what she wanted to do.

“It has given us a lot of opportunities to work and travel,” she said. “The fans are so amazing.”

 Some Questions and Answers

Ashley Tisdale sat down with Peterson Gonzaga ( Entertainment News Wire) for a Q&A session.

Gonzaga wanted to know if Ashley was going to be working on more behind the season things because of the fact that she has her own production company.

“Oh no. I have a Fox movie feature coming out in January. It’s called, “They Came From Upstairs.” It’s an action comedy and I’m real excited because it’s different than “HSM3.” It was a great experience. I am producing as well. I’m learning and being creative with all these different projects, and I’m hopefully going to make other kids’ dreams come true as mine have. I’m doing my second album. I’m recording it right now. It probably will be released maybe in February. I have a lot of creative control over it. I co-write and record nonstop. I just want to take my time on it because it’s so important to me.”

So what can be expect from her new album?

“It’s definitely edgier and different from my first album. I’ve co-written three songs, and every song that I sang was for my fans to get to know me as Ashley. This one is more rock. It’s pop rock. I feel it’s definitely edgier. It’s not about my experiences in life. It’s more about rocking out and having fun. I’m excited because it’s totally different than the first one. It’s kind of shocking.”

Peterson wanted to know how Tisdale kept her self focused, and what advice she would give to others who wanted to be in the business.

“You know, for me, I don’t drink or smoke. That’s a personal choice and that’s kept me pretty straight. Great family. I have such a great family that is so supportive of every thing I do. You need that because you can lose trust because you don’t know what people want from you sometimes. With fame and success, you can lose friends and gain people that just want something from you. Really, I feel I have been very focused because I knew what I’ve wanted. This hasn’t come overnight for me. I’ve been working since I was 3 years old, so it’s been very hard. That’s what keeps me focused. I love what I do and that’s my passion. I don’t want anything standing in the way or holding me back. If you want to be an actress, just keep your family so close to you and your real friends close to you, because you’ll find who are your friends and who aren’t your friends along the way.”

Some good advice from Ms. Tisdale.

According to www.showbizspy.com, the first play that Ashley Tisdale was in was Annie.

“The first play I was in was Annie. And I was not even an orphan that was really in the movie - I was just added - some random orphan that didn’t even say anything in the play. I just ran around and I was there with my sister who was one of the orphans. I just thought it was the coolest thing in the entire world. I had nothing to say and really did want to be Annie. But it was so much fun,”

said Tisdale.

It was great to add her to the orphan list.

According to Melinda Newman, writer for www.washingtonpost.com, Ashley Tisdale has her own production company called Blondie Girl Productions.

“I love being creative . . . Producing is just a big learning experience. I know I have pretty good instincts. I know what the fan base likes and what they want . . . I’m actually the first actress [Disney Channel] ever came to to executive-produce one of their TV shows, which is a pilot that I’m doing for them based on my life working at the mall. I’m also working with [production company] Fremantle on either creating a reality show or a scripted show,” Ashley said.

Ashley has a good head on her shoulders. I am sure we are going to hear more from Ms. Tisdale.

 Was Ashley Tisdale in a Haunted Room?

According to www.postchronicle.com, Ashley thought her hotel room was haunted, while she was in New Zealand filming They Came From Upstairs. 

“I thought my hotel room was haunted. Lights would go on and off and I’d hear things being thrown around the room. I could tell something was there,” Ashley said.

“I like to believe maybe it was just electrical problems, though.”

Well the lights going on and off, might be an electrical problem, but things being thrown around?

Ashley Tisdale will Present at the AMA’s

According to Jonathan Cohen, writer for www.billboard.com, Ashley Tisdale will present an award at the AMA’s, which will air on Nov. 23 (live). The awards will be held at the Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A.

Accompanied by her mother Lisa, the “High School Musical” starlet looked cute in a teal party dress as she made her way to the car for an evening out on the town. Maybe she was on her way to make a appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show which aired tomorrow.

According to www.showbizspy.com, Ashley Tisdale was not allowed to take any clothes home from the movie set.

Ashley explains, “I took the wardrobe from the first movie home. We didn’t know it was going to be so huge, and Disney wanted the clothes to put in a museum. So when it came to the end of the last two movies I was not allowed any of them.”

There are many actors and actresses that take things home from a movie set. Ashley made a mistake. She had no idea that they wanted some of the clothes to put in a museum. They should at least let her take home one or two things . Not ban her from all of the clothes.

Ashley Tisdale’s Feelings About HSM4

According to www.myparkmag.co.uk, Ashley Tisdale feels that HSM4 will not live up to the other movies.

“As much as I feel like they’ll fill our shoes, I don’t feel like they’ll fill our characters’ shoes. There’s only one Gabriella, one Troy, one Sharpay. But they’re really great kids, and they’re just as passionate about the movie as we are,” said Ms. Tisdale.

Will have to see how the fourth one comes out, but the original cast will not be there. What kind of characters or plot line will it have?

According to www.teenhollywood.com, Ashley Tisdale had to call the police after a photographer broke in her house to get exclusive video footage.

She has asked all the paparazzi to be assigned identity badges, because right now it would be easy for a stalker to become part of the media.

Ashley told tells Access Hollywood, “They broke in, they came into my home before. They don’t want middle America to know this is what they do to try and get pictures. The police were there and they (told me), you could say it’s a robbery. I’ve never seen the guy again, but they go to an extreme for pictures.”

Tisdale adds, “I wish they had badges. It could be a random stalker. They’re like 40-year-old men following us girls around.”

I though the media was suppose to wear badges, but I guess I was wrong. Ashley is right they all should have to wear name badges. But… Then again… They should not have been in her house.

They Are Just Like Siblings

According to www.sfgate.com, Ashley Tisdale tells Seventeen magazine that Zac is like a brother to her.

“I’ve never been attracted to Zac, and he’s never been attracted to me — which is even more amazing! Ha! He always says I look hot, and I’m like, ‘Aw, thanks Zac,’ but really, it’s more like siblings than a flirty relationship - he’s seriously like my brother.”

That is what many actresses say about their male co-stars, and I can see why it is true.

There are rumors going around that they cast is jealous of Vanessa and Zac’s relationship.

Ashley says, “Vanessa and Zac are a great couple. We’re all like brothers and sisters on the set so there’s no jealousy about their romance. It’s very sweet to see them so romantic and none of us mind seeing them like this together. They are as much in love off-screen as they are in ‘HSM.’ There’s such a great chemistry that it is like a fairy tale.”

According to www.contactmusic.com, Ashley Tisdale is nothing like her character, Sharpay, in all three High School Musical.

“I’m really shy and quiet and usually when a fan comes up to me they’re very nervous and shy and quiet. So they don’t know what to say, I don’t know what to say, so I’m like ‘You want an autograph?’ You never get used to it (being famous). It’s so amazing.”

I am sure there are many fans that could just walk up to a celebrity and start talking to them. Well. Okay . . . There are a few people that I know that could do that, but I am not sure if I would be one of them. My thoughts would bounce in my head, “I do not want to interrupt them. How long do I say around to talk? But I really want their autograph. To bad they wouldn’t come up to me and ask if I want their autograph. I am sure that they would be able to tell. Well. Maybe not, but there is always that slim chance.

Ashley Talks About What She Doesn’t Want in a Boyfriend

According to Jesse Curti, writer for www.people.com, Ashley Tisdale wants a boyfriend with self-confidence, but he cannot be the jealous type.

“I’m always surrounded by good-looking guys, like Zac Efron,” Tisdale says in the new issue of Seventeen magazine. “So I have to be with someone who’s not going to get jealous about any of that, or when I’m kissing somebody in a scene.”

That is true if you are going out or married to an actor or actress, you cannot be the jealous type. The relationship will not last. But, I did hear that Kirk Cameron would not kiss another woman, just his wife. How sweet is that?

Ashley speaks highly of her co-star, Zac Efron.

“He’s so funny, and you can just chill and hang out with him,” she says. “We met years ago through a mutual friend, so we were friends for a long time before HSM.”

According to Jennifer Cady, writer for www.eonline.com, Ashley Tisdale has no idea about why girls are making a big fuss over Zac Efron.

“I still don’t understand what everyone’s making the fuss about,” Tisdale said.

Ashley not understanding why there is a fuss about Zac is a great thing. The friend’s role is to never look at your best friend’s guy.

Mostly it just makes me sick. There is just a point where a celebrity should not have to put up with so of the things that are demanded of them. This is one of them. What gives the fans in this situation the right. Even worse, their mother. I can only image what Ashley was thinking or feeling. It had to be embarrassing.

Ashley Tisdale told FOX News.com: “A bunch of little girls came over and I thought they wanted an autograph, which was totally cool. But then the mother demanded I give her daughter a bite of my salad. She wasn’t joking and she wouldn’t go away when I said no. It was so odd that a grown woman would do that, especially in front of her kids. It was so wrong.”

I am sure most of Ashley’s fans agree with me. There is just a line that you do not go over, and one of them is asking for a celebrity to give you their food. I am not even sure what I would have done in Ashley’s place. I like to think I would do the same thing. It was just wrong.

Why Do People Like The Villains?

J-14 asked Ashley Tisdale, in the October/ November 2008 issue, why she thought Sharpay is a fan favorite, even though she is for the most part a villain?

“It is really funny… She is the complete opposite of me in real life, so maybe kids think that she is so opposite of them that they are interested in what she is like. She is a villain, but I think you love to hate her in a way.”

That is a really good answer and I do believe that is the major reason. Since Ashley is playing her, you have to have a talented actress to really pull it off.

“What’s exciting about this film being the first High School Musical made for cinemas is that it’s all gotten bigger and better, and Sharpay and Ryan have one of the biggest musical numbers in the movie. It takes place in the cafeteria and it’s just humongous. There are all different styles of dance, I have like five wardrobe changes, and there’s something like 500 extras.”

That is a huge dance scene. Ashley will start promoting HSM 3 on Monday, September 29. That maybe when she will begin promoting the movie in Europe. I am not for sure. I believe I heard somewhere that HSM3 will open in Europe first.
